Chiropractic is based on the premise that the body can respond appropriately to its environment, given the nervous system can function at it's normal capacity.
Chiropractors identify and correct underlying dysfunction in the spine that can cause interference to the nervous system, through gentle and specific techniques called adjustments.
Adjustments help to restore the normal biomechanical structure and function of the spine, therefore allowing normal function of the nervous system.
As chiropractors, we are looking for dysfunction in the spine, we then aim to correct this dysfunction with a combination of adjustments, exercise and lifestyle advice.

Dion grew up in a beach town north of Auckland, New Zealand and spent most of his time playing cricket and rugby, or at the beach. Being brought up surrounded by sports led him to a strong interest in the human body and its ability to self-regulate and heal.

Dion studied at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic and has looked after communities in Wellington and Auckland. He has continued his education through attending seminars and his involvement with the chiropractic community of New Zealand. Dion has a special interest in athletic performance and injury prevention in older adults, but loves working with people from all walks of life.

Outside of work, Dion enjoys being active in the gym, discovering new restaurants, getting outdoors, and watching sports.

Meet Dr Aleks Rayward.

His life’s passion is to help people live happier, safer and more fulfilled lives naturally through Chiropractic.

Aleks’ journey with Chiropractic begun in his teenage years as a competitive swimmer. It was this experience that helped him appreciate the impact Chiropractic had not only managing and preventing injuries but also to help increase performance in the pool.

As well as hands on care with patients Dr Aleks is an accomplished speaker, speaking to communities around Australia about spinal health and healthy living. He additionally trains other Chiropractors all around Australia in order to have the biggest possible impact on the health of our broader community!

He has a particular interest in musculoskeletal and neurological health, and how chronic stress affects the body in people of all ages. Aleks is interested in helping anyone reach their full potential through spinal health and educating patients about exercise and nutrition. From elite athletes to retirees, from grandkids to grandparents, people from all kinds of professions, backgrounds and everything in between, Aleks strives to help each patient reach their individual health goals.

Taylor is a local, having grown up in Melbourne and having previously practised as an associate chiropractor in the South-East suburbs of Melbourne . Taylor, along with her studies in Chiropractic has also studied concussion management.

Taylor has special interests in exercise and injury prevention, focusing on rehabilitation through chronic pain management and posture based treatments. Taylor has also cared for athletes in CrossFit Championships as well as volunteering at Chiropractic Community Clinics in Rosebud, St Kilda, Collingwood, Geelong and Dromana.

Taylor grew up with a love for learning about the human body and always wanted to pursue Chiropractic due to their father’s treatment at a Chiropractic Clinic. Taylor’s passion for Chiropractic comes from the drive to improve the quality of life of people and to educate and enhance people’s wellbeing and knowledge.

When not in practice, Taylor likes to do yoga, spend time with friends, walk the dog and support her favourite team the Essendon Bombers.
